Vasco-Da-Gama:  A modern, well laid out city near to Marmugao Harbour, has beautiful and extensive avenues. The air terminus of Goa at Dabolim lies on the outskirts of the city. It is also the railway terminus for passenger service on the South Central Railway.

Pilar:  Important religious and eductional centre of Christian Missionaries. The Church, Seminary and School atop hillock gives you a magnificent panorama of the countryside around and a fine view of Mormugao Harbour & Zuari River.

Chandor (Chandar):  East of Margao the menezes Braganza House, mostly late 18th Century and previously owned by Lemon nationalist and Journalist Luis De Menezes Braganza has a series of magnificent rooms especially the great salon with its fine furniture and you can keep reading the best travel books at the largest private library in Goa .

Mapusa:  The capital of Bardez Taluka, on the National Highway 17, is at the cross roads of the network of highways covering whole of North Goa. Weekly fair on Friday is held at the modern streamline market, attended by large crowds.

Palolem in South Goa is a White sand beach just infront of a very scenic blue occean and beside it are two headlands.Palolem Beach is just 3km away from Canacona Railway station and Auto Rickshaw and Taxi are readily available from the station to the Beach. Basically the Palolem Beach is the extention of the Canacona Goan Village and is connected by Roads to the South Goa places like Benaulim Beach, Colva beach, Agonda Beach.

Palolem beach is very quite and peaceful beach with shacks available for dine in and have agreat fun listning the slow music. At Palolem yo will get the Silent Music , which is you can listen to the Songs through earphone.
Very resonable rates village cottage and beach shacks were available for the Tourists. The Palolem beach is stretched  to nearly 1.5 kms long and gives the tourist the best occean experience with its shallow waters.

Palolem beach is featured in Hollywood movie The Bourne Supremacy (2004) for its exotic location. The Monkey Island is very famous for its art carved stones by the American Artist Jacek Tylicki.
